Death At A Funeral

Hello friends,

Last night, Anthony and I watched the British movie "Death At A Funeral." Upon reading the back of the DVD I knew I was in for an either really funny or really bad movie. It turned out to be really good! I'll give a little summary.

Basically, it is about a funeral for an older man. I knew the movie was going to be funny when the funeral home people brought the wrong body to the funeral. The main characters, Daniel and Robert, are the dead man's sons. Daniel lives in the shadow of his brother Robert as Robert is a successful author living in NYC. Daniel wrote the eulogy and everyone is expecting Robert to. We also meet a niece of the dead man who is bringing her fiance that no one knows, Simon. On the way there they pick up her brother who is studying to be a pharmacist. He has concocted a drug like acid and put it in a valium bottle. The fiance was nervous about the funeral so his girlfriend gave him a valium, which turned out to be the acid pill. This, as you can only imagine ,brings many laughs througout the movie. He ends up making loud remarks and running around naked. Then there is Uncle Alfie, who is a potty-mouth, old man in a wheel chair. The best part, however, is, of course, the midgit. I will not spoil why the midgit is there. I will only say no one seems to know him and he has something to tell...

Has anyone seen this?!? If not, do it!
